17th April 2024 1:41 pm GMT

NeoGames has expanded its iLottery leadership team with the appointment of Christopher Shaban as iLottery managing director.

The appointment marks the latest phase of NeoGames’ organizational restructure to support the upcoming closing of its acquisition by Aristocrat, and follows Monday's appointment of Jonathan Chilton as managing director of Aspire Global.

Shaban brings over 27 years of experience in the global lottery industry, and joined NeoGames in 2021 as executive vice president of global business and customer development for the iLottery business.

In his new role, Shaban will oversee all iLottery activity for the NeoGames Group globally, including new business, customer growth, the continued global expansion of NeoGames’ iLottery solution, as well as NeoGames Studio, the company’s in-house game studio.

“Chris is hugely respected within the lottery industry and his track record speaks for itself,” said NeoGames CEO Moti Malul. “I am thrilled about his appointment and look forward to seeing him drive us forward in our iLottery business.”

Commenting on his appointment, Shaban said: “It has been a few wonderful years with NeoGames and I am excited to continue in this new role as managing director, iLottery. Working together with the extremely talented people in our company, we are poised to expand our efforts under Aristocrat to best support our global lottery customers on their interactive journey.”

Shares in NeoGames SA (NASDAQ:NGMS) closed 0.48 per cent higher at $29.39 per share in New York Tuesday.
