Malta-headquartered iGaming platform provider SB Software has appointed Filip Sosnowski as its next chief executive.

Sosnowski brings a wealth of industry experience into the new role, having previously worked for Novomatic subsidiary Greentube and STS Gaming Group, which was acquired by Entain last year.

He takes over as CEO from SB Software founder Claus Rasmussen and will be responsible for the ongoing development of platform and in-house tools to provide tailored solutions to sports betting and online casino operators.

“I have founded experience with various gambling platforms, that’s why I’m very excited to discover the potential and quality of solutions offered by SB Software,” said Sosnowski. “The success stories of current clients, who are constantly growing their businesses using SB Software products, is extremely motivating.

“SB Software’s priority is to maintain a strong position as a leading software provider in the African, Polish and Georgian markets, as well as to acquire clients in new regulated markets. Our solutions are innovative and definitely competitive. I’m confident about it.”

Incumbent CEO Rasmussen has been in charge since the company was founded 13 years ago, and now becomes chairman of the board.

“We have reached the next step in the development of the company, that is why I have decided to strengthen the composition of the management further and pass over the steering wheel along to Mr. Sosnowski,” said Rasmussen. “It was important to me that the new CEO not only knows and understands the specifics of the Polish iGaming market but also has wide international experience.

“The decision was not difficult, Filip Sosnowski is an iGaming veteran and additionally meets all requirements, which are extremely important to me.”
