London-headquartered iGaming software provider Fincore has brought in former Light & Wonder executive Dominic Le Garsmeur as its new chief product officer (CPO).
Le Garsmeur will be responsible for leading the company’s product strategy, working closely with CEO Mateja Popovic and the rest of the leadership team.
He will also have oversight of the company’s recently launched TRI Hub, Fincore’s end-to-end modular software for sports betting, gaming and lottery operators.
Le Garsmeur joins Fincore after just over half a decade at Light & Wonder, having initially joined the supplier in January 2018 as vice president of product for gaming. He was made vice president of product for iGaming in March 2022.
Before his time at Light & Wonder, he served as vice president of casino at OpenBet between May 2015 and May 2019.
“I was immediately impressed with the production and engineering teams that were already in place at Fincore, and I quickly realised that this was too good an opportunity to miss,” said Le Garsmeur. “It’s important to me that I learn as much as possible and listen to feedback from the people that have helped to make this business the success story it is, and I’m excited to bring my experience to the business and help drive it forward.”
Popovic commented: “Over the last twenty years, we have built a formidable team that keep producing industry-leading, customisable software solutions that fit the exact requirements of each customer.
“Dominic’s wealth of experience will be of huge benefit to our team, and I’m absolutely delighted that he has agreed to join us and to evolve our product strategy to take it to the next level.”
Fincore was founded in 1988 as Finsoft, with its sportsbook and gaming arm sold to International Game Technology (IGT) in 2007.
Finsoft’s core gaming and sports betting teams rejoined Fincore in 2023.
