GamCare brings in former NHS director to lead clinical operations
12th July 2024 5:19 am GMTBritish gambling support charity GamCare has appointed Tim Hodgetts as its new director of clinical operations.
Brings over 22 years of experience across health and social care, Hodgetts will have responsibility for the strategic oversight and operational management of GamCare’s clinical and support services, include the National Gambling Helpline, online support, regional treatment services and GamCare’s range of prevention and education programmes.
He moves to the charity after a lengthy career in the health and social care sector, most recently serving as deputy director for the Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, a role he held since January 2020.
Prior to this role, Hodgetts spent six years as the deputy director of nursing, quality and patient safety for the NHS between May 2017 and August 2023.
