Genius Sports has appointed Robert J. Bach to its board of directors as an independent director, effective immediately.
Bach brings a wealth of technology sector experience to the board, having played a pivotal role in the launches of the original Xbox and Xbox 360 games consoled during his time as chief Xbox officer at Microsoft.
He has also served as a director at Sonos and the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Shares in Genius Sports Ltd (NYSE:GENI) closed 2.96 per cent lower at $7.22 per share in New York Wednesday.
