Aristocrat Leisure names new chief legal officer
25th October 2024 5:36 am GMTSydney-listed Aristocrat Leisure has appointed Anne Tucker as the company's chief legal officer following the retirement of Chris Hill.
Tucker most recently served as Aristorcrat’s deputy chief legal officer and assumes her new role in Las Vegas with immediate effect, reporting to Aristocrat chief executive and managing director Trevor Croker.
She will also continue in her current role as the group’s company secretary, a role she has held since March 2024.
Commenting on the promotion, Croker said that Tucker's elevation is a testament to the company’s focus on developing talent internally.
“Since joining Aristocrat in October 2021, Anne has led a number of complex strategic projects and major merger and acquisitions and established herself as a trusted partner and cultural leader,” said Croker.
“Anne's legal expertise, industry knowledge and strong understanding of our obligations as an ASX-listed company further add to her credentials and will be integral at this exciting time in Aristocrat's growth journey. I look forward to her expanded contribution going forward.”
Croker also thanked Chris Hill for her contribution to the company as chief legal officer.
“Chris has been a valued member of Aristocrat's executive team since joining in 2020. Chris has transformed the legal function, deepening our capabilities and effectively supporting our business through a period of strong growth and change. We wish her all the very best in her retirement and thank her for the excellent contribution to Aristocrat.”
Shares in Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. (ASX:ALL) gained 2.83 per cent to close at AU$59.02 per share in Sydney Friday.
