IGT partners Microgame in Italy

International Game Technology (IGT) has expanded its presence in Italy after partnering with leading platform provider Microgame.

The deal will see Microgame distribute IGT PlayDigital's casino game library to nearly 50 of its network of operators in Italy, including popular titles such as Treasures of the Pyramids, The Big Easy, Da Vinci Diamonds and Cleopatra.

“IGT has a rich history of providing best-in-class content across a variety of gaming channels in Italy, and Microgame is excited to now offer our operators and their players IGT PlayDigital's highly engaging casino games,” said Microgame CEO Marco Castaldo. “The inclusion of PlayDigital's iGaming content strengthens our overall portfolio and complements our solutions so that we can continue to grow within the Italian market.”

Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYSE:IGT) closed 1.85 per cent lower at $26.49 per share in New York Monday.
