Gaming suppliers Light & Wonder, International Game Technology (IGT) and Aristocrat Leisure have secured new deals to provide video lottery terminals (VLTs) to Canadian provincial lottery operator Loto-Québec.
Light & Wonder will deliver its Kascada Dual Screen gaming machines to the province later this year, featuring titles such as Bonus Seven Wild, Monopoly Jackpot Station and Jackpot Party Keno.
“Light & Wonder is honored to bring our proven content and hardware to players in the province of Quebec through this strategic agreement,” said Light & Wonder gaming CEO Siobhan Lane. “This milestone not only signifies the expansion of our market footprint, but also solidifies our standing as the leading cross-platform global games provider, demonstrating our commitment to elevating player experiences in every market.”
For Aristocrat, the deal marks its entry into Québec’s VLT gaming market, with an initial ten-game launch set to include titles such as Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Red Festival, Fire Light and Fu Dai Lian Lian Panda through its new MidKnight X Upright cabinet.
“Gaining entry into the Québec VLT market is another major milestone for the company, demonstrating our vested interest in these emerging segments, and allowing us to bring our award-winning products to new markets and their players,” said Aristocrat Gaming chief revenue officer Kurt Gissane. “We’re excited for the opportunity to have a presence in Québec and are hopeful for a longstanding relationship with Loto-Québec.”
Meanwhile, IGT will deliver its PeakDual 27 VLTs across Québec, featuring games such as 7’s Wild, The Wild Life 5 Line and Big City 5’s.
“Winning the opportunity to deploy VLTs in Loto-Québec’s current replacement cycle speaks to the trust that the Corporation puts in IGT and to the superior quality of our products and services,” said David Flinn, IGT senior vice president of sales for Canada, South and Central America.
