Inspired adds Aristocrat content to VLTs in Greece, Italy and UK

New York-listed supplier Inspired Entertainment has agreed a deal to deliver game content from Aristocrat across its video lottery terminals (VLTs) in a number of European markets.

The new licensing agreement will see Aristocrat’s games launched for the first time on Inspired’s VLTs in Greece, Italy and the UK.

“We are excited to be partnering with Inspired to bring our globally renowned gaming content to more customers and players in more market segments across Europe,” said Aristocrat chief product officer of land based Matt Primmer.

“This agreement expands Aristocrat’s growth opportunities in certain EMEA market segments and provides another channel for the monetisation of our powerful game content. We look forward to working with Inspired to deliver benefits for our businesses, players and customers in these markets going forward.”

Inspired president and chief operating officer Brooks Pierce said: “These particular geographies have very high barriers to entry.

Shares in Inspired Entertainment Inc (NSQ:INSE) closed up 1.98 per cent at $6.17 per share in New York Wednesday, while shares in Aristocrat Leisure Ltd (ASX:ALL) gained 1.14 per cent to close at AUD$37.25 in Sydney earlier today.
