New York-listed supplier International Game Technology (IGT) has promoted Dorothy Costa to the role of global head of people and transformation.
Costa, who previously served as IGT vice president of people and transformation for North America, will report directly to IGT chief executive Marco Sala.
Costa has more than 26 years of human resources experience, including 22 years in the lottery and gaming industry. Prior to her current role at IGT (and predecessor GTECH), she served as senior director of HR for the supplier’s global technology solutions and corporate groups. Before joining GTECH in 2010, Costa served in various HR roles for the Citizens Financial Group in Providence, Rhode Island.
“I wish to congratulate Dorothy Costa, whom I will be working with closely as she takes on the role of Global Head of People and Transformation and we continue to advance IGT’s leadership by attracting and cultivating our industry’s foremost talent,” said IGT CEO Marco Sala.
IGT also confirmed that Mario Di Loreto has been appointed executive vice president, senior advisor to Marco Sala through to the end of 2020, transitioning from his current position as executive vice president of People and Transformation.
Sala continued: “I would like to thank Mario Di Loreto for his successful transformation of IGT Human Resources into the People and Transformation organization, and for implementing a strategic operating model that has greatly benefited our company and global workforce.”
Shares in International Game Technology plc (NSQ:IGT) gained 15.70 per cent to close at $6.19 per share in New York Wednesday.
