New Jersey’s regulated betting and gaming market fell by 44 per cent to $163.5m in March following the closure of all Atlantic City casinos in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
With all venues in the state temporarily closed on 16 March, revenue from land-based casino declined by 62 per cent to $85.5m during the month, while sports betting revenue fell by 58 per cent to $13.2m.
