The Danish Gambling Authority has secured court approval to request internet service providers to block access to a further 16 websites that offer unlicensed gambling to consumers in Denmark.
Seven of the websites that have now been blocked by Danish ISPs offered skin betting, where players stake virtual items in video games, an area of particular concern for the regulator due to the risk of exposing young players to gambling.
