New Jersey’s regulated betting and gaming market has recorded a 69 per cent fall in total gaming revenue to $82.6m in April, with all Atlantic City casinos closed and most sporting events cancelled during the month.
With all venues in the state temporarily closed since 16 March, the bulk of April’s revenue was derived from online gaming, which contributed $80.0m, with online sports betting contributing the remaining $2.6m.
