The Massachusetts State Lottery has reported revenue of $5.25bn for its fiscal year ended 30 June, the third highest total in its 49-year history.
Despite being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, it marks the sixth consecutive year that revenue has surpassed the $5bn mark, although revenue was down 5 per cent compared to the previous year’s record $5.51bn, pushing net profit down by 11 per cent to $979m.
