Intralot extends omnichannel lottery supply deal in Malaysia

Intralot has secured a new long-term contract extension with Malaysia’s Magnum Corporation, operator of the popular 4D lottery game.

The agreement follows an international call for tenders issued by Magnum in 2022, with the new contract running for seven years and including options for two five-year extensions.

Intralot will help enhance Magnum’s current retail offering through a transition to its LotosX Omni ecosystem, which includes the LotosX central gaming system, PlayerX player account management system, RetailerX retailer management system, and PhotonX gaming terminals.

Magnum Corporation's parent company Magnum Berhad posted revenue of RM2.16 billion (€421.2 million) in 2023, with revenue for the final quarter of the year climbing 3 per cent to RM556.3 million.

The Q4 revenue growth came despite a significantly lower number of draws in the period, 42 draws compared to 48 draws in Q4 2022.

Shares in Intralot SA (ATH:INLOT) were trading at €1.234 per share in Athens Monday monring, while shares in Magnum Berhad (KL:3859) were trading 0.88 per cent higher at MYR1.14 in Kuala Lumpur.
