China’s lottery market grew by 2 per cent to RMB106.37bn (€14.1bn) in the first quarter of 2019, with growth in the Sports Lottery offsetting a decline from the Welfare Lottery.
After recording a fall in sales for the first time in a year during February, lottery sales fell again in March, down 13 per cent year-on-year to RMB34.95bn.
