New York-listed International Game Technology (IGT) has rolled out its Powerbucks progressive jackpot game with Canada’s Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
OLG becomes the fifth Canadian province to roll out Powerbucks alongside British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec and New Brunswick, giving players at PlayOLG.ca access to a progressive jackpot prize pool across provinces and games.
“IGT is excited to bring the success of the Powerbucks network to OLG, our long-term Canadian partner and an important PlayRGS customer,” said IGT regional vice president Canada David Flinn.
“Powerbucks is a player-favorite brand among those who play online or in brick-and-mortar casinos across Canada, and its growing omni-channel jackpot pool will provide OLG’s players a unique slot experience unlike any other in the province.”
Since making its Canadian debut in 2016, Powerbucks has paid 15 jackpots of more than CAD$1m to Canadian players.
Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYQ:IGT) closed up 0.70 per cent at $14.30 per share in New York Thursday.
