OpenBet seals long-term sportsbook deal with Veikkaus

Finland’s Veikkaus has agreed a four-year deal with OpenBet to enhance its sports betting offering.

Openbet will provide its sportsbook technology and managed trading services to the state-owned operator for both retail and online sports betting, as Finland transitions towards a competitive gaming market.

Veikkaus launched a public tender in July to select a sports betting partner.

Shares in OpenBet parent Endeavor Group Holdings Inc. (NYSE:EDR) closed 0.82 per cent lower at $24.32 per share in New York Thursday.
