DAZN has secured the right to broadcast next summer’s inaugural FIFA Club World Cup competition as a free-view service.

The new international club competition will be held in the United States and live streamed globally by DAZN as a free-view service in multiple languages, providing football fans with coverage from all 63 matches of the competition.

The partnership also allows DAZN to integrate full-match replays and live fixtures from FIFA into the DAZN platform, and to sub-licence content to local free-to-air linear broadcast networks.

The 32-team tournament kicks off in Miami in June 2025 and sees the world’s leading football clubs battle it out to be crowned club world champions at the tournament final, which takes place in New Jersey on 13 July 2025.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said: “From the outset, FIFA wanted to have the best 32 clubs in the world competing in a merit-based, inclusive tournament to crown the only official ‘FIFA world club champion’.

“As part of that, it was imperative for FIFA to ensure that as many football fans across the world could follow the action, and this agreement with DAZN guarantees that in terms of broadcasting, the new FIFA Club World Cup will be the most widely accessible club football tournament ever.”

The partnership begins with DAZN broadcasting the Club World Cup draw live from Miami on 5 December 2024.

“This groundbreaking deal with FIFA is a major milestone in DAZN’s journey to be the ultimate entertainment platform of choice for sports fans everywhere,” said DAZN chief executive Shay Segev.

“We’re delighted to have the exclusive rights to this new chapter in global club football, marking the start of our long-term relationship with FIFA and cementing our status as the home of football.”
