BetMakers Technology Group’s Global Tote division has entered into a long-term deal to provide its racing technology to Perak Turf Club in Malaysia.
The ten-year agreement will enhance the overall wagering experience for bettors at Perak Turf Club through Global Tote’s Quantum technology, which will include 70 Next-Generation Teller (NGT) terminals and 15 Self-Service Terminal (SST) Platinums.
The venue will also integrate Global Tote’s commingling network, providing access to expanded pools and international racing markets.
“We are excited to embark on this transformation with Global Tote,” said Perak Turf Club chairman Dato John Lim. “Our goal is to establish Perak Turf Club as a premier racing and entertainment destination. With world-class technology, expanded race dates, and new simulcasting opportunities, we are well on our way to achieving that vision.”
BetMakers CEO Jake Henson commented: “BetMakers and Global Tote look forward to playing a key role in the transformation strategy set out by the Club. This partnership along with our recent launch at Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur underpins our commitment to technology, growth and collaboration within the Asian Racing Federation.”
Lance Ku, director of sales and business development, Asia for Global Tote, added: “We are thrilled to welcome the Perak Turf Club to the Global Tote family as we continue expanding our presence in Malaysia.
“Following our successful partnership with the Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur last year. We are excited to further drive the domestic and international growth of Malaysian racing and strengthen our standing in the region.”
Perak Turf Club historically hosted around 25 live race days annually, but is currently ramping up its stable capacity to significantly increase race dates.
