Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker enters Scotland with its first shop in Motherwell
BOYLE Sports has expanded its presence in the United Kingdom with the opening of its first retail outlet in Scotland.
The new shop in Motherwell had its official ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, hosted by former Scottish international midfielder Gary McAllister.
The opening represents a significant milestone for BOYLE Sports, adding Motherwell to its growing network of shops across the UK and Ireland.
“We are incredibly proud to open our first BOYLE Sports shop in Scotland, marking a significant milestone in our continued expansion across the UK,” said BOYLE Sports UK operations manager Richard Doxey. “Motherwell is the perfect location for this landmark opening, and we look forward to bringing our industry-leading experience to customers across the area.
“It was only fitting to have one of Scotland’s footballing greats officially cut the ribbon and we’re delighted that Gary McAllister joined us to kick off this exciting new chapter for BOYLE Sports in a town that means so much to him.”
McAllister began his senior career at Motherwell before going on to represent Leicester, Leeds, Coventry, Liverpool and Scotland.
The launch in Scotland forms part of BOYLE Sports £100 million-plus investment in the UK, which was announced last year.
