Gaming supplier Interblock has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) and Kangwon Land.

This strategic partnership will focus on the development of casino game cards and electronic shoes designed to enhance gaming operations in South Korea’s gaming industry.

The trio will design new electronic shoes capable of recognising unique card identifiers in an effort to improve game security, prevent dealer errors, and mitigate fraud.

Interblock will develop the casino shoes, Kangwon Land will manage the assembly and production of the hardware, and KOMSCO will develop and manufacture the casino cards.

“This partnership marks an exciting opportunity to bring innovative solutions to the global casino market,” said Interblock global CEO John Connelly. “By combining our technological capabilities with the expertise of Kangwon Land and KOMSCO, we are confident in our ability to deliver products that set new standards for security, efficiency, and reliability in the gaming industry.”
