International Game Technology (IGT) will modernise the hardware and software powering LOTTO Thüringen in Germany under a new contract extension.
The seven-year contract extension will see IGT roll out its Aurora retail central system technology and upgraded software to LOTTO Thüringen in Germany, with the new platform expected to go live in March 2026.
“LOTTO Thüringen has relied on IGT’s versatile and strong-performing central system technology throughout the course of our decades-long relationship,” said LOTTO Thüringen CEO Jochen Staschewski. “Upgrading our central retail system to IGT’s advanced platform and back-end software will enable us to streamline our business processes and continue operating with the highest levels of efficiency.”

Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYSE:IGT) closed 0.23 per cent higher at $17.15 per share in New York Friday.
