The state lottery has published a Notice Of Intent to award the new digital lottery contract to Toronto-listed lottery provider 

Pollard Banknote has been preliminarily selected to provide a new digital lottery platform for the Colorado Lottery.

Following a competitive procurement process, the Colorado Lottery has published a Notice of Intent to award the contract to Pollard Banknote as the apparent successful bidder. 

The comprehensive program encompasses an iLottery platform, website and mobile application, player loyalty and rewards, marketing programs, and games. 

The award is subject to a protest period, completion of standard background investigations, and execution of formal contract.

“We are honored that the Colorado Lottery has entrusted us with this opportunity,” said Doug Pollard, co-CEO of Pollard Banknote.

The lottery had issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) in December 2025, with the contract valued at between $50 million and $150 million. The contract runs through to June 2034.

Shares in Pollard Banknote Ltd (TSE:PBL) closed 1.93 per cent lower at CA$16.75 per share in Toronto Tuesday.
