Playtech has entered into a strategic partnership to provide its poker network services and content to leading French gaming operator PMU.
PMU will migrate its poker offering from partypoker’s French network to join Playtech’s iPoker.EU Network, gaining access to an extensive suite of poker variants and features such as cash games, tournaments and Playtech’s flagship Twister Poker game.
The operator will also leverage Playtech’s poker platform gamification and player engagement capabilities to deliver a heightened level of excitement and engagement for PMU Poker players.
“We are thrilled to partner with PMU, a leader in the French gaming market,” said Playtech vice president of interactive gaming Marat Koss. “France is a key market for Playtech, and this collaboration continues to highlight our commitment to providing innovative and engaging poker solutions to our licensees needs, ensuring an engaging experience for their players.”
Stéphane Auffret, PMU’s product, service and innovation director, commented: “Partnering with Playtech and joining the iPoker network represents a strategic and significant step for PMU’s growth, allowing us to offer our players an unparalleled poker experience.
“This collaboration will enable us to enhance our offerings including a multi-vertical access to poker through Turf and Sports Applications, and consistently deliver the best experience and technology to our players. We are confident that this partnership will significantly elevate our poker offerings and drive substantial growth in the French market.”
Brewenn Cariou, PMU head of business for sport and poker, added: “This strategic repositioning marks a major turning point for PMU Poker. Our ambition is to offer a complete, innovative gaming experience that is tailored to the expectations of all our players, while remaining faithful to the values that are part of our DNA.
“We are convinced that, thanks to Playtech’s gaming applications, this new approach will strengthen our position on the French online poker market and offer our players unprecedented gaming opportunities.”
