Canadian gaming technology provider Las Vegas From Home Entertainment (LVFH) has agreed to license its HTML5 gaming platform to social gaming operator and supplier Goldstar Entertainment Group Inc.

LVFH will develop a new gaming site for Goldstar using its HTML5 poker product, allowing users to access cash games and tournaments across all devices.

LVFH will receive an up-front licence fee for supplying the product, and ongoing monthly royalties for the duration of the contract.

Goldstar chief executive August Liguori said he was excited to have established the relationship with LVFH, noting that the platform was able to support a range of games alongside poker.

“This will enable Goldstar to partner with casinos for online social gaming tournaments and other strategic partners,” Liguori explained.

Alongside free-to-play gaming products, Goldstar supplies opt-in push marketing technology to operators.

LVFH president and CEO Jake Kalpakian commented: “We're delighted to partner with Goldstar for this exciting opportunity.”

He said that Goldstar’s marketing expertise, combined with LVFH’s “industry-leading” mobile gaming platform he was confident their new site would achieve strong results.

He also revealed that the supplier had entered into negotiations with a number of premium hotel chains in Latin America to license its gaming platform.

“Mobile is the key growth channel for the online gaming industry and our HTML5 gaming platform, which includes casino, poker and tournaments has recently generated a lot of interest within the industry, and we now anticipate to sign several additional licensing agreements in the very near future,” he explained.

“As a result, we expect to experience strong and meaningful growth in the licensing side of our business, while at the same time continuing with our core operations and initiatives,” Kalpakian concluded.
