PMU Signs Four-Year Sponsorship Deal with French Football21st December 2009 8:41 am GMT
Continuing to strengthen its position in the market ahead of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, French betting operator PMU has signed a four-year partnership deal with the French Football Federation that will see PMU sponsor French football across the board, including the 2010 World Cup team and televised broadcasts from South Africa on TF1.
Under the terms of the agreement, PMU will serve as the sponsor of the male and female national football teams, the French National Cup and amateur football across the country, as well as sponsoring coverage of the World Cup on TF1 and Eurosport between June 11th and July 12th 2010.
PMU joins Crédit Agricole, GDF Suez and Adidas as main sponsors of the national team and co-sponsors the national cup with Crédit Agricole. PMU also sponsors the Tour de France, the French National Rugby League and the national stadium in Paris, Stade de France.
