New multi-year deal sees the casino operator named a founding partner of the NFL team’s new Highmark Stadium in Western New York
Seneca Resorts & Casinos has expanded its partnership with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills to become a founding partner of the team’s new stadium in Western New York.
The new $2.1 billion state-of-the-art Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park was completed last week, with the public-private partnership marking the largest construction project in Western New York history.
The multi-year deal continues Seneca Resorts & Casinos’ long-standing partnership with the Buffalo Bills, which stretches back over 20 years.
“Our Seneca Resorts & Casinos team knows well the feeling of opening and operating world-class properties that are built for big moments. This is a big moment,” said Seneca Resorts & Casinos president & CEO Kevin Nephew. “There is nothing more exciting than when the Bills are playing. It takes over the whole community. We are proud of the strong partnership Seneca Resorts & Casinos and the Buffalo Bills have built together, and we are looking forward to celebrating many exciting moments here in the years to come.”
Buffalo Bills chief commercial officer Jason Hartlund commented: “We’re excited to continue our partnership with Seneca Resorts & Casinos as a founding partner at Highmark Stadium. Their dedication to delivering exceptional experiences aligns with our vision for our fans and community. Together, we’ll create memorable moments at the stadium and across Western New York for years to come.”
In addition to its presence at the Seneca Resorts & Casinos Field Club and other branding visibility inside Highmark Stadium and through other Bills-controlled channels, Seneca Resorts & Casinos will also be the Bills Legends Community Presenting Sponsor.
This includes Seneca Resorts & Casinos being the presenting sponsor for the “Legend of the Game” feature at home games, and Bills Legends making various appearances at Seneca Resorts & Casinos properties during the partnership.
The Bills Legends Community encompasses more than 1,300 former Buffalo Bills players.
“The ‘wow’ factor and the experience for fans and guests will be unbelievable, on and off the field,” said Seneca Gaming Corporation chairman Allie R. George. “There is a natural connection for us to that rush of excitement because that is what we focus on at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino every day. That is why we are so excited to be part of the history and excitement the Buffalo Bills are making at Highmark Stadium.”
Highmark Stadium will host its first public event on August 8 with the Bills’ inaugural scrimmage game, the Blue & Red practice under the lights.
