The Commonwealth state of Kentucky will continue to pursue action against the remaining online gaming websites included in its unprecedented action against 141 domain names in 2008, having received $6.1m from the federal settlements of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.

The domain seizure case dates back to September 2008 when the Franklin Circuit Court of Kentucky first issued an order of seizure against 141 online gambling domains.

The civil action was brought before the court on behalf of the Commonwealth of Kentucky by Secretary of the Justice Michael Brown, seeking seizure and forfeiture of internet domain names used to promote or provide illegal gambling within the state.
