Sweden’s state-controlled gaming operator Svenska Spel has shrugged off a marginal decline in net gaming revenue to post a record operating profit for 2013.
The operator’s 2013 results reveal that despite seeing net gaming revenue decline 0.9 per cent year-on-year to SEK9.73bn (€1.1bn), operating profit rose by 2.3 per cent to SEK5.2bn.
