Paddy Power sportsbook hit by adverse football results

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power said Tuesday that adverse football results in March had a negative impact on its results for the first nineteen weeks of 2014, with online sportsbook net revenue falling 27 per cent and retail sportsbook net revenue dropping 10 per cent year-on-year.

Further to the unfavourable sports results in January, the company said that results were once again poor across the sector in March.
