London-listed wagering and racetrack operator Webis Holding has reported a widening operating loss for its financial half-year ended November 30th, with rising cost of sales and betting duties offsetting a 38.7 per cent increase in turnover.
Following the closure of its betinternet.com online sportsbook in March 2015, the company's half-year results primarily reflect the performance of the WatchandWager.com pari-mutuel and racetrack operations in the United States.
