The merger of the two major Dutch lottery operators, Nederlandse Staatsloterij and De Lotto, has been finalized with the enlarged group to be headed up by Staatsloterij CEO Frans van Steenis.
The companies said that as a result of the merger, a “powerful” and “strongly socially oriented” gaming organisation will be created, which will be able to continue to address new developments in the quickly changing gaming market.
