Playtika is expanding beyond its social casino roots with its acquisition of Tel Aviv-based casual games developer Jelly Button.
Playtika said the acquisition will aid its long-term strategy to become the world's leading mobile gaming business through expansion into new game genres.
Jelly Button was founded in 2011 and has 80 employees. Its Pirate Kings and Board Kings games have been downloaded more than 80m times.
