Gaming revenue at Iowa’s land-based casinos rose by 3 per cent to $164.3 million in March.
There were 14,313 slot machines installed across Iowa’s 19 casinos and they generated total revenue of $147.5 million during the month.
The 1-cent slot machines earned revenue of $117.3 million, and the $1 machines had revenue of $11.6 million.
These two categories of slot machine held 87 per cent of Iowa’s machine revenue in March.
