Schleswig-Holstein licensee in Berlin illegal ad fight

The Berlin Office of Criminal Investigation has launched preliminary proceedings against Bundesliga second division football club Hertha BSC over the club’s marketing partnership with online betting site Cashpoint.

The Berlin authorities accuse Hertha BSC of breaching Germany’s State Treaty on Gaming by advertising the services of Cashpoint, the online gaming subsidiary of Gauselmann Group.
