Sportech Venues Inc., the US subsidiary of Sportech plc, has been awarded an exclusive online wagering licence by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.
The licence enables Sportech to offer online wagering on horse racing in the US state of Connecticut on an exclusive basis, extending the company’s existing licence to provide exclusive pari-mutuel wagering in perpetuity on horseracing, greyhound racing and jai alai via telephone and at off-track betting locations within the state.
