A new worldwide ban on betting on football will come into force from next season, with any individual involved in the top seven divisions of the English football league banned from betting on any aspect of a game.
The measures were approved at the English Football Association shareholders’ 111th Annual General Meeting at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday.
