Lithuanian president Dalia Grybauskaitė has signed amendments to the country’s gambling law, which seek to regulate online gaming for the first time.
Lithuania’s proposed gambling legislation was notified to the European Commission in May this year and is still subject to a standstill period, which expires in August.
