The New Zealand Commerce Commission looks set to allow the New Zealand Racing Board (NZRB) to combine certain betting pools with those of Australian bookmaker Tabcorp.
This would allow New Zealand residents to continue to bet via the commingled Tabcorp and NZRB pool, but with certain new restrictions designed to protect funding for grassroots racing and sport in the country.
