Identity management solutions provider Central Account Management Systems (CAMS) has been granted a full Casino Service Industry Enterprise Licence by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).
The supplier said that while it was unnecessary to secure the full licence, it had committed itself to a rigorous certification process in order to illustrate its long-term commitment to the industry and set a gold standard for companies in the iGaming sector.
“New Jersey has been an important state for us as well as the industry at-large,” CAMS chief executive Matthew Katz commented. “This was the first populous state to deploy and fine-tune age and ID verification as well as geolocation. We look forward to serving other states that adopt licensed and regulated online gaming.”
CAMS was granted a provisional waiver by the state’s DGE in 2013 ahead of the launch of online gaming in the state, and provides Know Your Customer solutions, as well as age and ID verification, geolocation and payment services to gaming operators such as GameAccount and bwin.party.
It uses proprietary technology, complemented by solutions from other providers such as Skyhook and GBGroup, to help operators reduce risk, comply with legislation and increase profitability.
