Live casino games provider Stakelogic continues to expand its US presence after securing a new licence in Rhode Island.

The licence is Stakelogic’s third in the US, and follows previous approvals in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

“Gaining the Rhode Island license is a significant achievement in our ongoing US market journey,” said Stakelogic CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar. “Our team is excited to introduce our content and technology in Rhode Island.

“This expansion is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our strategy to be at the forefront of the online casino industry in North America. We are grateful to the Rhode Island regulators for their trust and cooperation and look forward to making a positive impact on the local gaming scene.”

Rhode Island became the seventh US state to legalise online casino gambling last June, with the bill extending Bally’s Corporation’s role as the sole active casino operator in the state to also include iGaming.

Bally’s entered into a strategic partnership last July with Stakelogic to bring live casino operations online in the state.

White Hat Gaming has also confirmed its licence approval in Rhode Island this week, and expects to launch its PAM iGaming platform and content from White Hat Studios with Bally’s on 1 March.
