Brazil MoF seeks expressions of interest from sports betting operators

Operators who want to secure priority consideration for their sports betting licence application in Brazil have less that 30 days to submit expressions of interest to the Ministry of Finance.

According to an ordinance published in the official gazette on 27 October, operators that submit an expression of interest to the ministry within 30 days will have priority in the analysis of their applications when the licence application window opens.

The expression of interest, which must be in Portuguese and signed by a legal representative of the applicant, is not a requirement for licensure, is non-binding and does not constitute prior authorisation.
