Leading international sports betting provider bet365 is set to expand its presence in the United States through a deal with New York-listed casino operator Century Casinos.
The agreement announced Tuesday gives bet365 access to Colorado’s online sports betting market as Century Casino’s second online sports betting partner in the state, following Century’s earlier agreement with Circa Sports.
bet365, which is already licensed in New Jersey, will now seek license approval in Colorado to offer online sports betting under the bet365 brand.
The 10-year market access agreement with Century Casinos provides the casino operator with an upfront payment and a percentage share of net revenue, subject to a minimum annual revenue guarantee.
The agreements with Circa Sports and bet365 leave Century Casinos with one remaining available license for online sports betting in Colorado.
Shares in Century Casinos (NASDAQ:CNTY) closed up 3.78 per cent at $4.12 per share in New York Tuesday.
