The English Football Association (FA) has revealed that it will no long enter into sponsorship agreements with betting companies, and has ended its current partnership with Ladbrokes as a result.
The FA made the decision to end any betting partnerships following a three-month review of its approach to such agreements. It was looking to ascertain whether it was possible to take money from such companies while being responsible for regulating betting in relation to football.
