Italian football giants FC Internazionale Milano has named GVC Holdings' bwin as its first ever official betting partner.

The three-year deal with the Nerazzurri will see the operator promote live odds across pitch side LED screens during matches at the San Siro stadium, as well as making the odds available on the club’s social media channels.

For every match in Serie A and all of Inter's fixtures, Nerazzurri supporters will be able to see odds presented by bwin, along with statistics for each match and also promotions and special offers that are linked to a specific fixture.

The new features were debuted during the club’s most recent game against Fiorentina and included 'The Race' campaign, a Hollywood-style 90-second car chase aiming to bring to life the excitement of the bwin experience.

"We are very happy to have reached an agreement with a prestigious international brand like bwin," said Michael Gandler, FC Internazionale's chief revenue officer. "Inter and bwin are unified in their desire for growth and further development within their respective sectors.

"We hope that this new agreement will lead to a future full of success and innovation. bwin can make the most of the new and developing multimedia models that the club is pushing forwards, leading to expansion within their business and providing unique and valued content for their own clients."

Moreno Maraso, country lead and board member for bwin Italia, said it was a privilege to have been chosen by Inter as the club's first betting partner.

"We are extremely proud to announce this partnership with Inter," he said. "Historically, bwin have always supported and sponsored clubs who are at the peak of world football.

"This collaboration highlights our closeness to the world of sport and its values. After the opening first two league games, we believe that this year's season will be a special one and we are happy to enjoy it alongside a team like Inter."

Inter is the second-most supported team in Italy, and has won 30 domestic trophies, including 18 league titles, 7 Coppa Italia and 5 Supercoppa Italiana. Last season, the club finished Serie A in 7th place, 29 points behind champions Juventus.
