US heavyweights join online poker lobby

Former US Homeland Security chief Tom Ridge and Louis Freeh, former director of the FBI, have joined in calling for the effective regulation of online poker in the United States.

Ridge, who served as Governor of Pennsylvania before being appointed State Secretary for Homeland Security by President George W. Bush, says that states should be free to decide for themselves whether to allow online poker.
