UK racecourse operator Arena Racing Company (ARC) has announced that Lord Michael Howard of Lympne has resigned from his role as chairman of the company.
Howard, a former Member of Parliament, had served as chairman of Northern Racing since 2008, and continued to hold the role after the business was merged with Arena Leisure to form ARC in August 2012.
