US gaming and racing operator Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has appointed William Carstanjen as its new CEO, replacing Robert Evans who will continue to serve as chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Carstanjen has served as the company’s president and chief operating officer since March 2011, and begins his new role as CEO today.
