The demise of Czech lottery operator Sazka turned messy this week with the dismissal of CEO Aleš Hušák amidst accusations of making false and misleading statements to the media and incompetent management decisions.
Hušák received written notice of his dismissal by post Tuesday after refusing to accept notice in person from Sazka’s insolvency administrator, Josef Cupka. Hušák’s benefits have also been suspended and his access to Sazka’s premises strictly restricted.
